I'm a writer and photographer based in eastern Pennsylvania, near both NYC and Philadelphia. I focus on technology, transportation, science, travel, and other subjects for a wide range of outlets, including Wired, The Drive, Gear Patrol, Men's Health, Popular Science, and others.
During my 25 years in the business, I've been shot by the U.S. Air Force "Pain Beam," cracked 200 mph in a Bugatti, climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro, edited sex columns, driven a Formula One race car, chased solar eclipses, profiled celebrities, and pushed my limits on race tracks around the world, among many other adventures.
My photography has appeared at Wired.com, Gear Patrol (digital and print), The Drive, globally through the Associated Press, Rhapsody Magazine, and The New York Times, and in commercial work for Acura. It has also been featured in publications from and collaborations with brands that include Audi, Porsche, Acura, Nikon, Pentax, and Airstream.
